HOW WE TREAT

The most important thing a doctor can do to help a person heal is to listen.

At 360 Osteopathy, we believe in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. Specializing in neuromusculoskeletal medicine, we provide a holistic approach that helps your body heal from within. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from injury, or seeking relief for an infant struggling with breastfeeding, we’re committed to restoring balance and promoting long-term health.

Our personalized care focuses on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing your overall well-being. Discover the difference that tailored, hands-on osteopathic care can make. At 360 Osteopathy, your health is our priority.

TREATING ADULTS OF ANY AGE

The techniques we use vary by individual, as most patients seek treatment for pain. By addressing joint immobility, tissue tightness, or dysfunctional muscle patterns, pain can often be relieved. While some patients feel better immediately, lasting improvement usually requires multiple sessions. Physical therapy is often prescribed to maintain progress. Many patients who have plateaued experience improved function and reduced pain. Over time, you will be asked to do exercises to aid in restoring motion.

WORKING WITH INFANTS

When treating infants, we primarily help with latching and breastfeeding but also address issues like fussiness, constipation, and plagiocephaly. Many infants are relaxed during and after treatment, with parents often involved by feeding, playing, or singing to them. We work to release tight tissue to improve function. While breastfeeding outcomes aren’t guaranteed, parents often report reduced fussiness, a more relaxed infant, and less stress overall. Supporting the entire family, including parental self-care, is a key focus.

DOCTORS OF OSTEOPATHY

In the U.S., Doctors of Osteopathy (DOs) have the same practice rights as MDs in all states. They serve in the medical corps, Veterans Administration, and Public Health Service, and are recognized by the AMA as full-practice physicians. DOs can prescribe medication and perform surgery. Like MDs, they attend four years of medical school and complete residency training. DOs and MDs often work together and refer patients to one another. Additionally, DOs receive training in Osteopathic Philosophy and Manipulative Medicine, which takes a more holistic approach, recognizing the connection between body, mind, and spirit.
